Lil heartbeat

Wednesday was amazing, I went into the doctors office nervous and left with a huge smile. Not only did I get to see the fetal pole, but I saw and heard the little heartbeat. I can't believe there is a little heartbeat in my belly! (Well uterus!) I can't believe I'm growing a human! I felt so amazing and special that I've finally been blessed with a baby. Thank you lord for answering my prayers...this its such an amazing gift and a much wanted addition to our family.

Baby's heart rate at 6 weeks 5 days into pregnancy is 138 beats per minute. Woot woot! Keep growing lil lentil bean, mommy can't wait to meet you!

Beta update

My second beta was 1192 on Tuesday. The average for 18dpo is around 400! If you look at my first number and triple it then I should have been at 645! And according to my RE he wanted me to at least have an 860! I'm all smiles, but still praying that everything stays on the right track. I love this little poppyseed so much already.  I cleaned out the nursery last night...we were storing a couple random things in there... I know it's early but I wanted to do something productive.  Next I will work on baby's first blankie! ;-)

Ultrasound update! March 21st, 2012

If you're a "fan" on facebook you already know done of this info.  I was very nervous sitting in the doctors waiting room because I don't think I had any real symptoms from Clomid.  I wasn't sure if that meant that I wasn't growing a follicle.  They called me into the examination room where I waited even longer and I gradually got more nervous (Seriously I was sweating bullets!). The doctor came in, sweet as always, asked me a couple questions and got down to business.  First he measured my lining, 11.8, and he said that looked great (I'm still drinking Pom Juice and Raspberry leaf tea).  Then my real fears were knocked out of existence when the doctor moved the transducer to the right side of my abdomen.  There it was, bigger than any I've ever seen! A nice fat follicle! 24mm! My doctor said, "oh that's a good size," and I immediately let out a small cry of joy.  He then said we don't want it to get any bigger, so he immediately prescribed Ovidrel to trigger ovulation.  My ultrasound is scheduled for Friday at 10 am...wish me luck!

P.S. None of the follies on the left had any substantial size.

No side effects for me with 50 mg of Clomid!

I honestly do not think I experienced any Clomid side effects, other than the occasional warm feeling... I'm chalking that up to changes in Vegas temperature.  No moodiness at all! my wife lucked out lol! Ultrasound on Wednesday...I'm hoping for at least 1 follie... fx

Cycle day 2 of first medicated IUI cycle

My period started off strange, not much pain yesterday but definitely full flow. I normally have a lot of clotting but none yesterday. Today I have a bit but still not my normal painfully huge clots. (TMI!!) I may just be emotional, but I miss my old doctor's assistant.  She was so friendly! The girl I work with now, although nice, just isn't as warm with her words.  You know when you connect with someone in the doctor's office it just makes this process a whole lot easier. Oh well, at least I have my YT friends!
I will update on clomid later!
